(Please note we have Polish speakers and we specifically represent the Polish Community in the UK.)
We have specific expertise in co-habitation cases where the relationship has broken down and there is a dispute over the property. We may be able to act on a greatly reduced hourly rate in return for a contingency fee (typically is 25% but this can vary). In a typical case we will represent you on a reduced hourly rate initially in order to advise you on the merits of the case and also the likely value. If there are not good prospects of success of a substantial settlement we may simply advise you at that point that you should “walk away” rather than spend more time and money on pursuing a risky claim.
As with general litigation and property litigation we can offer a two-stage process;
- We will require that clients initially put some money into their cases up front, in order to carry out a proper assessment of its merits.
- If we are satisfied that your claim has genuine merit we may thereafter be able to assist you on the basis of a no-win no fee agreement. This may be in conjunction with a contingency fee.At the end of that stage and where we believe you do have a strong case we will the undertake the work on a No Win No Fee basis and will also look to provide you with insurance against paying the other side’s costs if the matter were to go all the way to trial.
